LexicaKit is a product of Deep Lexica. This policy explains what information LexicaKit (“we”, “us”) collects when you use https://lexicakit.com, and what we do with it.
Files you use with our tools
Our tools run in your web browser. The PDFs, images, videos and text you select are processed on your own device. They are not uploaded to our servers, and we cannot see, copy or store them.
Information we collect
You do not need an account to use LexicaKit. When you visit a page, our server records basic visit information:
- the page you visited and the page that referred you;
- your IP address;
- your browser, operating system and device type;
- the date and time of the visit, and a random session identifier.
We also count how often each tool is opened.
If you sign up for updates, we store the email address you enter so we can tell you about new tools and features. To be removed from the list, email hello@deeplexica.com.
How we use it
- to see which tools are used, so we know what to improve;
- to keep the site secure and prevent abuse;
- to find and fix technical problems.
We do not sell your personal information.
Cookies and browser storage
- Session cookie — a cookie that keeps your visit working correctly and protects forms against misuse.
- Theme preference — your light or dark mode choice is saved in your browser’s local storage. It is not sent to us.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The tools will still work.
Third-party services
Some parts of the site are loaded from other companies, which receive your IP address and browser details when your browser requests them:
- Google Fonts, for the typeface used on the site;
- Content delivery networks (cdnjs, jsDelivr and unpkg), for the open-source libraries that power the tools;
- YouTube, when you use a YouTube tool that displays video thumbnails;
- Analytics and advertising providers, such as Google Analytics and Google AdSense, where these are enabled. They may set their own cookies and use them to measure visits and show ads, including ads based on your interests. You can manage Google ad personalisation at adssettings.google.com.
These companies handle data under their own privacy policies.
How long we keep information
Visit statistics are kept for as long as they are useful for the purposes above and are then deleted or aggregated.
Your choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what information we hold about you, and to ask us to correct or delete it. To make a request, email hello@deeplexica.com.
Children
LexicaKit is a general-purpose website. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the date at the top.
